Blue Moon is a multi-purpose entertainment and functions venue, nestled between Lowveld granite outcrops, situated in Mpumalanga - 10km south of Nelspruit. The venue is designed to ensure excellent acoustics both inside the building and in the adjacent amphitheatre. The design also guarantees all-round maximum visual access to the main stage. Blue Moon hosts regular concerts and live entertainment and is a unique venue for weddings, corporate and private functions.

The venue is suitable for day as well as night functions with a strong indoor-outdoor relationship. Much attention was given to create a space which is comfortable for small groups yet spacious enough for large groups. Blue Moon is an all-weather, round the year venue - breezy and cool during the hot summer months, whilst on a cool winter night the six enormous sliding doors can be closed.

Apart from the main stage, there are two additional outdoor stages often used for acts in-between main stage performances, promotions and to cater for smaller groups. In addition to the main bar, a second covered bar, located at the top perimeter of the amphitheatre, is operational during big concerts.

VENUE FACILITIES

Blue Moon has a permanently installed fully active 6.5kW Montarbo sound system complete with 32 channel mixing desk, monitors, mics, mic stands and drumkit, as well as adequate flush toilets, parking and bar facilities. Single and three phase power is available as well as effective stage lighting. Blue Moon has a fully equipped kitchen and bar.

Blue Moon's maximum capacity for youth concerts is 2000, for indoor/outdoor cinema-style seating 1200 and for banquet-style indoor events 230.
